IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE

Hello GCRA Families, 

The city has informed us that there is an issue with the ice cooling equipment at Lois Kemp Arena in Blackburn, and the ice will not be in place and ready for skaters until around September 21st. 

Due to this delay in Blackburn being operational, there have been some changes to several of our regional/FUN sort-out ice times and competitive practices. 

Our scheduler has worked diligently with our City of Ottawa representative to move some sort-outs to alternative dates/locations, but some will not be rescheduled. Please note that due to an increase in U12 registrations, an additional U12 B/C sort-out has been added to the schedule. The sort-out schedule is updated here.

All competitive practices scheduled at Blackburn before September 21st are cancelled or rescheduled for alternative dates and times. These changes will be reflected in RAMP within the next couple of days, and coaches have been notified of the new changes.

The next block of practice scheduling will be added to ramp after the 16th of September to allow our regional and FUN teams to be finalized.
