GCRA Summer Pre-Season Training Camps

GCRA Pre-Season Ringette Training Camp - August 17-21, 2026

The Gloucester Cumberland Ringette Association (GCRA) will be hosting pre-season training camps from August 17-21, 2026, at Fred G. Barrett Arena to help athletes prepare for the upcoming ringette season.

These camps will focus on skill development, conditioning, and on-ice preparation to ensure players start their season strong across all levels of play. GCRA will be offering three distinct programs during the week, designed to support athletes at various stages of development.

FUN2/3 Full-Day Camp cost: $450 max participants: 30 (4 goalies)

For athletes playing FUN2 or FUN3 this coming season.

8:00am-3:00pm
120 minutes of on-ice training (skating development, ring skills, drills, scrimmages/games)

U12/U14 Full-Day Camp cost: $450 max participants: 60 (4 goalies)

For athletes playing U12 or U14 this coming season.

8:30am-3:30pm
125 minutes of on-ice training (skating development, ring skills, drills, scrimmages/games)

U16/U19 Pre-Season Training cost: $200 max participants: 30 (4 goalies)

For athletes playing U16 or U19 competitive this coming season.

2:30pm-5:00pm 4 days (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
70 minutes of on-ice training (skating development, ring skills, drills, scrimmages)
45 minutes of off-ice conditioning (fitness, agility and coordination)

Goalies:

A goalie instructor is on ice for each session and in addition to the regular camp sessions, goalies will also have an additional 30 minutes on ice with the goalie instructor on 4 days of camp.

Full Day camp: $300

U16/19 camp: $150
