The Gloucester-Cumberland Ringette Association (GCRA) is proud to provide opportunities for athletes and families through development programs, league play, tournaments, and community events.
Sponsorship support plays a vital role in helping GCRA deliver a positive, inclusive, and development-focused sport experience for athletes and families throughout our community. By partnering with GCRA, sponsors directly support youth sport while gaining meaningful visibility among local families, athletes, volunteers, and supporters.
As GCRA celebrates its 50th Anniversary Season, we invite local businesses and community partners to join us in supporting the continued growth and success of ringette in Gloucester-Cumberland.
By sponsoring GCRA, your organization can:
Gloucester Ringette Association was founded in 1970 to administer and promote the sport of ringette in Gloucester. In 2002, the Gloucester and Cumberland associations merged to form the Gloucester-Cumberland Ringette Association (GCRA). Since then, GCRA has grown to become one of the largest ringette associations in Ontario.
Today, GCRA proudly supports more than 25 teams, over 350 players, and more than 150 volunteers. Together with an additional 100+ teams from across the National Capital Region, our athletes participate in an interlocking schedule involving more than 130 teams and 1,800 players. This network of players, families, coaches, officials, and volunteers provides a strong and engaged community and an excellent opportunity for sponsors to connect with local families and supporters of youth sport.
Registration fees help cover essential operating costs such as ice time, officials, jerseys, insurance, and administration. Teams often collect supplemental fees to support tournament participation, additional ice time, off-ice training, and team development activities. Sponsorship support helps offset these costs and helps ensure ringette remains accessible to local families.
GCRA offers programming for athletes of all ages and skill levels, from introductory programs through competitive and regional levels of play. Our athletes continue to represent Gloucester-Cumberland with pride at league, tournament, provincial, and national events.
GCRA offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities to meet the interests of businesses, organizations, and community supporters.
