Looking for Age Level Convenors!

As we gear up for another tryout and sortout season, we are looking for volunteers to fill the roles of age-level convenors in our FUNdamental, Regional, and Competitive divisions.

Convenors will be chosen by the Operations Council through a vote.

Convenor Job Description 

Key Responsibilities Include:

Team Formation Support

• Work collaboratively with the appropriate Division Director as part of the Team Formation Committee
  
  
• Support fair, transparent, and policy-aligned team formation processes
  
  
• Participate in meetings and discussions related to player placement
  
  

Tryout & Sort-Out Administration

• Assist with tryout and sort-out logistics and administration
  
  
• Support the use of TeamGenius software for evaluations, rosters, and data tracking
  
  
• Help ensure processes run smoothly, efficiently, and consistently
  
  

Parent & Coach Communication

• Act as a point of contact for parents within your age group, in collaboration with the Director
  
  
• Support clear, timely, and professional communication during tryouts, sort-outs, and early-season setup
  
  
• Redirect concerns appropriately and help ensure consistent messaging
  
  

Operational & Logistical Support

• Assist with administrative and logistical tasks during tryouts and sort-outs (scheduling support, coordination, documentation, etc.)
  
  
• Support Directors as needed throughout the season to help keep operations running smoothly
